The Instructor Training Course is difficult and will require a tremendous amount of effort on your part. It takes commitment and dedication to successfully complete the program. Not all individuals are suited for this specialty area. It is not uncommon to fail in this program. Therefore, the selection process for admittance is more involved than other programs that you may have attended. Seating is limited and selection of the most qualified students is necessary. Eighty (80) hours are spent in the
classroom and an additional 3 days is set aside to work individually or with the course coordinator to improve the quality of the student’s lesson plan. It is not uncommon for a student to spend several hours each evening preparing the lesson plan, and preparing for written and performance examinations. Successful completion requires the preparation and execution of a one (1) hour lesson and an 80% or better on a written examination.
